Scattering urn made from mulberry paper with bamboo fibres. The paper is made from the bark of the mulberry tree, which grows back after it is stripped. The opening at the top makes it easy to use for scattering ashes. This scattering urn is also suitable for scattering ashes on water or for burial, but is not suitable for an urn wall. This urn comes with a mulberry paper ash bag, a string and a paper band to seal the urn. This urn is accepted at natural burial grounds affiliated with BRANA.

What size urn do I need?
The average amount of ashes produced following the cremation of an adult is approximately 3 to 3.5 litres. This amount depends, among other things, on the height and weight of the deceased, as well as their bone structure; whether a coffin or bier was used; the type of wood and size of the coffin; and so on.
It is best to contact your funeral director or crematorium to enquire about the exact amount of ashes.
